Great check-in staff with a very friendly welcome. Our room was something special with antique furniture, wall and ceiling paintings. It was all very comfortable and quiet. A pleasant and comfortable few days.
The sea view is limited but the balcony is large.

The hotel was stylish and quirky and good fun to stay in. The staff were really friendly, helpful and flexible however it helped that I could speak some Italian as there was very little English between them. The location was spot on - just 5 mins from the beach and with a nice view of the sea from our lovely little balcony. I became very fond of the hotel whilst there.
The room was gorgeous but the bathroom, though nicely designed and functional, needed improvement - perhaps we were suffering from an end of summer booking. We had asked for twin beds but got a double; they agreed to swap the bed but never did - not the end of the world for us but others might be more uptight about this. Be prepared to carry your bag up 2 flights of steep stone steps!

It really is a palace. The paintings on the walls make it look like you're inside Hampton Court Palace, with raised borders and painted shadows from the chandellier light source. The furniture is original antique and more than enough storage space. Spa bath was awesome too. Truly a privilege.
Parking is a little inconvenient.

The idea is good but it is nowadays a little decadent. The breakfast was "boring" and the terrasse needs an updating (urgently). The service people were very kind but not able to solve problems (TV not working). The building and the idea is really nice but everything needs tobe updated.

Breakfast was delicious, with fresh and perfectly cooked eggs. this hotel exceeded our expectations and provided an unforgettable experience. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like. 😊.

We spent New Year's Eve in a hotel located just a few steps from the seaside. The view was simply amazing, and we had access to an exclusive party on the hotel rooftop, where we could see the fireworks. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the Italian breakfast included in the price.
We had to wait a long time to be checked in and the staff did not provide us with clear directions for the New Year's Eve party. the receptionist seemed annoyed whenever we asked for help or advice about the area.
